Had a frightening feeling while sleeping last night. I slept soundly for the most part, but was restless in my dreams. I felt like i was being stalked. Like something bad was about to happen. I believe this sense was engendered by watching "The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford" before going to bed. I went to bed a few minutes after midnight.

2:13am

1. Someone and i were in their new attic apartment. Everywhere clothes were hanging from the ceiling, from wall lamps, from doorknobs. Not strewn about, but on hangers. It was like the apartment was a closet. The lighting was muted by colourful. We hadn't seen each other for a while and they said to me, "I am graduating right away," which in the dream meant, "I'm busy but i guess you wouldn't know." But, i did know and said so, and they liked that. There was a slightly ominous feeling coming from below in the house. Maybe...maybe not...

3. Something about someone coming to take revenge on me in the future.

4. This was the dream i had before waking up. There was a sexy costume contest taking place on a stage that was like the stage of my elementary school, and the gymnasium was instead a large pool with the shallow end by the stage. I might have been taking part in the contest, or else it was just after the judging and was hanging out with friends (people from work?) on the stage and other people telling us to come into the water (they were in the shallow end, splashing around). One friend looked somewhat older, darker, and more leathery than in real life. I had promised to allow people to undress me, but had really meant to be undressed by someone who was too far away (too far onstage or too far in the pool? maybe in the deep end?).
Woke up on hearing what sounded like a "thwack" close to my head, but outside my bedroom (outside the house). Woke up with a scary, ominous feeling.

7:55am

1. Something about being on a subway, and the train was running on time. (In the afternoon yesterday, i watched the newer version of "The Taking of Pelham 123.," which takes place in the subways of New York City.)

2. A friend i met from couchsurfing.com was demonstrating various ways a woman in a skirt can sit on the floor in ways that would be considered "appropriate" while some other person was trying to sleep resting against her back, or feet. May have been at a party? A kind of relaxed afternoon party?

3. Some other dream about a big house?

4. I was in the Bay (i think the one downtown). I was specifically trying to find a pair of pants, underwear and a shirt. All the pants i kept finding were too big. The last pair i picked up were black denim with pleather sections where the seams on the sides were, they were on a straight, black hanger. They had a pinned-on tag with a size that was too big, and the tag inside the pants had another size, but also, they were too big. The lighting was bright, flourescent mall lighting. A fairly busy day with lots of shoppers.
