Before bed: worked; bought a fan and brought it to our band's jam space; had drinks and Smoke's Poutinerie for the second time with our band (we didn't jam); our band went to see Dark Dark Dark at the West End Cultural Centre; there was a brief conversation between the singer of DDD and i after the show about their band coming over since they needed a place to stay but they didn't end up coming although i did get the apartment ready for people to stay.
To bed at _____ (i didn't write it down. Was after 1am, i'm sure.)
8:30am
1. Saw Natalie Imbruglia and Patti Griffin playing a show in a basement somewhere and i tried to video it on my phone (i don't have a cell phone in real life, and the one i used to have didn't have a camera on it). Woke up in the morning or after the concert and went to check on people at the concert, at least to check on a friend who our band played a show with a while back and his girlfriend. They had done lots of cocaine and were passed out but OK but had some weird pictures on their phone. Suddenly i'm in my parents' basement thinking about doing cocaine with a friend's voice in my head encouraging me to try it.
2. Showering with two disheveled women of aboriginal descent; not a sexy incident, just getting clean. The shower area is like the one under the cottage of some friends. This was was after walking around a big garbage dump or thrift store drop off at a community centre in Winnipeg's West End on a lovely summer evening. There were lots of clothes and i noticed a lot of housecoats.
3. Something about a vacation somewhere?
